Breakdown of VIN for 80's model Capri

Could someone please help me. I recently bought a Mercury Capri. The
title says its a 1982, but it looks more like an 85/86. Just wondering
if someone might have a breakdown of the vin for the 80's model Capri.
Or tell me some distinguishing marks of an 82 to see if it is really
an 82?
