ATLANTA, GA., Feb. 09, 1999 – The C5 Corvette hardtop makes its SCCA Pro
Racing debut at Mosport Park, Canada, May 21-23, at the season opener of
the Speedvision World Challenge Series, “World GT class”. The series will
include the world's most well known production based cars that annually lose to
Saleen Mustangs -- the Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper, Acura NSX,
BMW M Series, Porsche 911, and Audi A4 Turbos to name a few. However, this
year, Saleen has moved up to the nationally televised American LeMans Series
in search of a more challenges.
