The 1993 was the LE and it had the stiffer springs, it was the predecessor to
the 'R' model.  The 14x6" wheels made their debut in 1992 on the black LTD.

<< I thought I recalled the LE with 14x6" BBS being a '93 model.  It also
 had slightly stiffer springs, Bilsteins, ABS, the works.  A guy in
 Spokes had one for a while until it got wrapped around a tree (no
 serious injuries but a totalled car). >>
