SP car weight

Do Street Prepared cars get checked for weight at the Nationals?  There's
conflicting literature showing  V8 TVR's weighing from 1326lbs to 2240lbs.  If
there is no weight listed on a V8 TVR's current registration and I get it
weighed for the new registration, is that the legally accepted weight of the
car for SCCA solo 2?    The Prepared rules classify the V8 TVR's weight at
1750lbs, is this legal weight of the car in SP also?
