Someone asked me the size of my Holbay head intake inlet size. That is,
the size it was opened up to to match the 40 DCOE side draft Webers. I
can't find that e-mail. Sorry. So, everyone gets the number. I measured
it at 32.7 mm in diameter.

Also, on the Mazda alternator I'm using that didn't require any
modification to the bracket, is number 14231. This is the number that the
alternator shops know it by. When I first got it, I went to a local
alternator shop that nicely spent the time pulling out all sorts of small
ones they could find to see what would fit. There were actually more than
one 14231 style. The one I ended up with was clearly a more modern shape,
but there were some older looking ones. I think the older ones were from
a Datsum pick up.

As to the wiring, it's pretty easy. The key is to have the keyed power
flow through the light into the coils of the alternator to charge them.
When the alternator then starts pumping, the power then goes up to the
light and turns it off. Pretty cool actually.
