Getting on list

I had problems before with the digest.  I wasn't getting the e-mails.  I 
finally decided it was my company's firewall and perhaps something about 
the length.  So, now that I'm back working on my Alpine, I broke down and 
sent an e-mail to "Majordomo@autox.team.net" and put "subscribe alpines" 
in the text.  I did not get any message back and I don't seem to be 
getting any e-mails.  Did I do something wrong?  Or, is there perhaps 
still a problem with our company's computer?
