Fuel lines

Hello list,
The DPO of my S1 cut off part of the metal fuel lines running to the twin
Zenith carbs and replaced the part with a series of brass connectors and
hoses. In addition, he used vise grips to tighten the fittings entering the
carbs. Has anyone found a good source for replacement lines and fittings? Any
help would be appreciated.
