Yeh, last year I put in a new one and it caused more grief than I needed 
this year. I direct, hosed mine , kinda on a cross hose deal .Works but 
kinda hard to set up. I did not have to remove the carbs either. I 
picked up a plastic T at the  NAPA store and 1' of hose to fit and some 
hose clamps.. and is working till I can put on a brass T this winter.
