One of my tires went flat over the weekend... they're all 165/13 on wire
wheels. The wheels are 'okay' but suspect to me because I haven't had them
off the car since I got it and thus haven't checked them out.
On the other hand, I have 4 wire wheels for my MG Midget (off the car) that
are in much better shape. Two of them have Michelin X 145/13 tires in very
good shape. Assuming these rims will just fit right on the Alpine (Series
5), are these tires too small for the car? I know stock tires were usually
5.90 or 6.00 / 13, but I don't know how those numbers equate to modern
sizes.
