Series 1 & 2 soft tops

Anyone know what the difference between a series 1 and 2 top? I know that that
the series1 top had 3 windows, and the series 2 had 1 window. But if I took a
series 2 top, would it fit on a series 1? and if so what would need to be done
to make it fit? Thank you. Lou
