I just successfully fitted a pair of 40DCOE's complete with 1 1/2 inch
velocity stacks to my Alpine WITH the brace bar.  If I can find some
in-the-stack filters I will be all set.  Oh yeah, now I just have to pull
the engine again to install the pilot bushing I found while cleaning up the
garage.
