Hi Brent,
I have a spare hood from a Series II which I have available for my S IV
body. It required a little "work" to the underbody portion before it
would clear everything and fit properly. In its original shape, it
fouled around the front and the sides of the radiator since the hollows
in it are either slightly further forward or backward from those in the
S IV hood.
There are various locations for the hood prop rod...on mine it was at
the back.
The early cars have a hood badge which is mounted using two small holes
towards the front of the hood.
I believe the shape of the top of the hood is, within reasonable limits,
the same.
