Bill,
Nobody responded yet on your comment of the hubcaps.
Several Sunbeam Venezia's have logos on the hubcaps. Please look at
http://www.arcc.demon.co.uk/pictures.htm
at the end is a Belgian Venezia with these. Is that what anything like
what you saw?

Subject: hub cap question

A belated Happy New Year to my fellow 'Piners:

I am just back to PA after spending the holidays in Bournemouth England,
and have a question or two.

Sunbeam first: While at the Iford Bridge Pub, I saw a great Rapier,
light colored, absolutely perfect. If the owner is on this list,
congratulations! Great car. My question: I noted it had hubcaps with
the talbot emblem on them, and thought they would look better than my
'dog dish' standard issue hubcaps. Are they available anywhere? Are
they rare?

I also saw on the same day (Jan 1) several old cars, there must have
been a rally. One car that passed me was a 50s/60s vintage 2 seat
sports car I had never seen before. It looked similar to a TR2 or 3,
including the fender/wing lines, BUT had pointy fins like a S1/2/3. I
wish I could give a better discription, but it zipped past me pretty
quick. Any thoughts?

Bill
