Yes... It looks to me like they may have replaced the rear quarter. It
also has a LeMans style filler cap or something. They could have used a
piece of tube to connect that to the metal filler neck on the early
series tank. Speaking of Series I's though... Jan needs to tell everyone
about his new find... Jan?
