This is a pick on the minor nit: I believe his name was Ransome (not
Raymond) and he never produced Olds for GM. He made his own car (the curved
dash Olds), which was bought out by Billy Durant (made the Buick). Durant
called the resulting company General Motors. Olds then went on to produce
the REO cars and trucks.
