Water Spots-OT

My son and daughters cars sit outside and are constantly hit with the
underground sprinklers in the morning. Day after day and now water spots
that are difficult to remove. I thought waxing would remove but no luck.
Any car care experts that now tricks of the trade to remove water spots
and keep them off? Thanks Brent
