Spark Wires

I recently installed 8mm spark plug leads in the Imp based on a
recommendation from an Imp expert I buy parts from. The difference is
dramatic from the skinny 6mm-7mm to this larger set. Has anyone tried
this size on their alpine? I am tempted to make the switch although I do
not think their are any precut sets available. Feedback appreciated.
