I have the book "How to Restore Your Collector Car" by Tom Brownell and one
of the topics he covers is degreasing and derusting products. He recommends

He says they work and they are the only (what he says, not me) environmently
safe products to use. I have purchased some (expensive) but I haven't used
them yet and can't tell you how they work. By "they" I mean - the product
comes in liquid, gel, mixable, etc., depending on how you want to use it.
