Last month I bought a 67 Series 5. It had not run in
10 years but is straight. It is not an original car -
it has a Datsun A14 engine and 5 spd, VDO gauges, a
home-made wiring harnes and diamond tuck interior.
This is how I bought it - not what I would of done
with the car - but hey, I got it cheap.
Anyway - I've got it running, now I can move on to
other work.
One of my seats is missing the pie shaped piece with
the teeth on it that the lever engages to fix the
position of the seat back. Before I try to fabricate
one, does anyone have one to sell, or know of where I
can get one?
Also, I have an adjustable steering wheel, but no horn
ring. How do I get the wheel off and is there a cheap
replacement wheel I can use?
I think that's enough for now.
