Some of you US people are probably better placed to help with this request
than me.

Hello,

I am in need of some assitance here. A friend of mine owns a 1967 Series
V Alpine Sunbeam. He has owned this car for over ten years and it is always
a work in progress. Well about a year ago while driving in Eastern
Washington he ended up getting rear-ended by an old Chrysler. Well I suppose
you can imagine the damage caused to the car after that sort of collision.
Well he has been working on it slowly but surely. Some of the pats where
unfortunately damaged beyond repair.

As you know parts for this Series are more abundant than other Series but it
still is a bit of a challenge finding these parts at a somewhat reasonable
price. It's hard to find people whom have these extra parts they are willing
to depart with at a fair price. We did manage to find a whole spare parts
car so he has both types of hubs and axles in case he ever wants to change
to lug wheels as opposed to his knockoff spinner type in addition to a
couple of doors, most of an engine, gauges, suspension and thus forth.

What we are looking for now is an overdrive transmision to convert the car
(he never had that on it but would like to get it), a clock, LAT wheels
(generally a factory option mostly on the Tigers). So far I have found a
clock for auction for around $230.00 but that may change. Also found an o/d
transmission for sale but the asking price was $1800.00 which isn't a fair
price.

If you can give us any guidance on who to get in contact with or where to
find these parts at a reasonable price I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
for your time and any assitance you can lend to us on this.

Sincerely,
J. Faldyn
