I would have been 11 or 12 when the 250's were made.
My first TR was a 4 at age 16 that my Pops co-signed on a $350 note at the
local bank. I bought it in the dark and drove it home in the rain. My first
experience with Lucas and rust with non working lights, horn and wet feet.
Along with the deal was a block with a hole in the side! Sweet. We got started
with LBC's when my best buddy's brothers had big Healey's and we thought those
were pretty cool. Couldn't afford a Healey so Triumphs were my brand. We have
other Triumphs but the 250 is the one Vicki and I cherish the most. We have 4
children (2 each) pretty much on there own now and none except my youngest son
has ever expressed any interest for Mom & Pops hobby. He has a lot to learn
and needs a bigger garage.

Subject: [6pack] Post your age (+ or -) when your TR was born
John's note about the age of us TR dirvers got me thinking that this would be
inda fun.
So post your age when your TR was new. I guess that will be a minus number if
t's older than you are.
I was 8 when my 69 was new.
Sloane :)
69-Six (currently in the shop for a complete engine rebuild, first as far as
