First of all thanks to the wisdom of the list. I received one theory off
line which I will pursue this weekend. If indeed his is the answer, I have
been asked to publish this to the list once the results are in. So until
this actually happens, I cannot comment.
Just to re iterate the situation and why some of the answers have been put
to the side and currently not being considered:
Issue: Wobble at 65mph. Solid smooth ride at 60 and 70 or more.
*Identical symptoms happen with two different sets of wheels and tires and
any configuration of front to back and back to front. One set is steel rims
and the other is 60 spoke wires.
* All wheels have been high speed balanced and a recent front end alignment
* Front suspension is "fresh" with new tie rod ends, bushings, springs,
trunnions, etc.
*Bearings are new along with spindles. Seals were inserted wet and squeezed
in the manner Dick advises.
So the dilemma will exist until this weekend. I will report back the
outcome.
