Listers,
The 6 experienced some poor start conditions a couple weeks ago, I found
no points gap. Replaced points and condensor, fired right up, ran like a
champ. Today, it wouldn't stay running after an extremely hard start,
replaced the condensor only, runs like a champ. In the last couple thousand
miles
I performed an extensive ignition tune-up and replaced fuel pump, air and
fuel filters. The coil may be original to the car. It's at least (10) years
old. The car is driven 1500-2000 miles / year.
What would be causing condensors to fail ?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Vic Snively
