hi. my old hood latch broke, and a friend put a new one in. i guess he
didn't do a very good job; it kind of came apart; the post and spring were
planted into the scuttle part of the latch. how do i know where/how to
position the nut which controls how long the post is? and i assume common
sense on where to position the assembly once i bolt it back onto the hood?
just watch where it sits so that it correctly hits the bar on the scuttle?
