Jonmac can probably tell you more about Donald (Lord) Stokes, but it is
certain that he played a part in the post war history of Triumph. He passed
away recently and his obit. can be found at

I never met him, but did see him at a distance at Earls Court in 1971 .... I
was looking enviously at a TR6 and he was surrounded by the press by a T200
saloon (sedan).
