I have the whistling...almost sounds like
crickets...in fact, it's a bit of a conversation
starter when people are standing around my car.

It's the B&B fingers alright. I was NOT aware that Mr
Gunst recommended NOT using the B&B PP?? I
experimented with this a long time ago...using a stock
RHP on the older style B&B PP(non-cranked
fingers)...no whistling...change over to the cranked
fingers & whistling. Change TO bearing to
Gunst...same thing.

As Dick mentioned, it actually does whistle all the
time...or I should say, it's noticeable(sometimes)
when you're in gear driving...at slow speeds(5mph or
less). I suppose the sound of the 6 may be hiding the
whistling or perhaps it doesn't do it at higher
speeds. Dunno?

But I do know, I WON'T be buying another B&B Pressure
Plate with cranked fingers. Either Sachs or the LUK
for me!

Cheers,

Todd
