Hello everyone,
After a four year hiatus, I am trying to get my act together regarding
my TR6. It is a 1975 model, ugly pumpkin color. It is in good mechanical
shape, but I got busy with other things and have not touched it in a while.
I have some questions:
1. Does anyone know the model or part number for the Sunbeam rear wheel
slave cylinder that can be used on TR6's to increase the rear braking?
2. Has anyone purchased a radiator from Victoria British? They have them
on sale right now for a very nice price, so I am looking for feed back
about this item.
3. I have one of Mr. Butcher's supercharger kits, maybe the last one he
sold. Can anyone tell me the EXACT model of Eaton compressor needed? I
believe that there are several similar models for this unit and don't
want to buy the wrong one.
4. Can anyone tell me of a good source for engine crankshaft thrust
washers??? Main and rod bearings too???
5. One web site about TR6's talks about replacing the engine bearings
without removing the engine. Is this a reasonable thing to do??? My
motor is old, but does not burn excessive amounts of oil and the
pressure is good for an older engine.
