Hey Chuck,
Your right , I guess I blocked out all the evil parts ;-) . In my case
it wasn't that bad. I heated a wrench & bent it to a more comfortable
position & it made it a little easier. I would venture to guess no two
cars are alike, so one car could have no room & another might have that
little extra space to get a couple of fingers in. My biggest beef was
getting the exhaust out of the way . I eventually cut the pipes 5" out
of the tunnel and using a very neat stainless steel butt clamp to
reassemble the system. This made it sooooo much better.

I'll post some pics on the triumph owners site of the exhaust. The allow
you to just cut the pipes & butt them back together & clamp them.
