Maybe a stupid question for the list, but remember, I'm a newbie. The previous
owner installed an alloy valve cover
(which I believe is from TRF since everything else he purchased was from there,
but I'm not 100% certain of that). Are
you supposed to be able to pull the metal breather tube attached to the side
completely out (obviously, I can)? If
not, how are they attached to the valve cover? I don't have a replacement
gasket (hopefully I'm correct about it being
from TRF and will order one soon), so I haven't pulled it off yet to
investigate.
