Boston, MA to Ft. Worth, TX for VTR 1997, total mileage was a tad over
4000 miles in 8 days... four of which I was sitting around at the VTR
hotel gawking at all the pretty Triumphs. I had a passenger, but I was the
only driver. I left on Sunday at 6 AM and was home the following TUES at
about 9 AM.

Boston, MA to Hudson, WI - VTR 1998. That trip was only about 3000 miles,
but I took my time and spent 4 days at Road America on the way there. The
trip back was done with one 4 hour sleep-stop at a rest area and I did all
the driving - my "passenger" was a set of Hoosier racing tires. :-)

But the Six Pack Iron Man award has to go to Herman van den Akker - he
drove solo from San Diego, CA to Portland, ME for the VTR 1999! Herman is
Da Man!

rml
