I've apparently missed the sequence of posts that led to this. Why the
special joint puller vs. a good ole' pickle fork? Besides, when you're
through using a pickle fork to not only separate the tie rod ends but the
ball joint linkage, you can ping it with a hammer and it resonates at
somewhere around middle 'C". With a Bud Light, it makes for a good evening.

I think I paid 7 bucks for this gem, and it stores neatily under my
workbench. I dismantled my front suspension in something like a half hour
using this tool, and without damage to any part.

I have ordered 5 of these tools.

http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/TA-61900.html

Four are spoken for. If anyone wants the last one, let me know.

If you order less than $50.00 from the Tool Warehouse, they add $18.00
processing charge + $7.00
shipping. $25.00 extra Wow.....

11.77 Tie Rod Ball Joint Puller
1.39 shipping from Tool WareHouse to me.
4.00 Shipping from me to you ???? Whatever it cost me.
=====
17.16 or so.... Less than $20.00 for sure.

When I get them, I will let you know and you can send me the money. The
$4.00 shipping from me to
you is a guess at this time.
