I know you asked for a new price but maybe this can be looked at as a
gauge - I bought my '71 TR6 in the summer of '73 for $2900 from a dealer
with a 30 day warranty. 27 days later the thrust washers fell out. I had
lost the clutch. They had to replace the bearing cap etc and clutch under
warranty. It only lasted for a year before I had to do it again.
