Steve---You are correct in leaving the sensing switch in, if you are going to still use the vacuum retard. Triumph learned that having ignition timing retard without a means of cancelling it can cause the engine to overheat during "long" periods of idling. Their addition of this interrupter switch was very clever! Dick |
