I've been using the pioneer TS TRX40 self inclosed speakers for a couple
of years , they work great. I have them mounted on the rear deck,(no roll
bar). They take up a lot less room than putting 6x9's in a box. They do not
interfer with the top down.
Top down today, so car can dry out from the rain lately.
Walmart used to carry them. Rex Stores still do.
