engine accessory paint

Hi folks,
I'm starting to put my engine back together.  A couple of questions about 
paint.
What is the correct (or preferred) color, finish for:
1.  Intake manifold (has anyone tried to clean of the casting flaws, polish, 
etc...)
2.  Exhaust manifold
3.  Thermostat cover
4.  Heater return pipe
5.  Motor mounts (to block)
6.  water pump/pulley
7.  crank pulley/damper
8.  starter
9.  washer motor, gear box
