Been there done that (kinda) After trying my best with the tubing wrench (and 
then vice grips) to unscrew a nasty nut on the cluch mastercylinder I gave up 
and used a mini tuibng cutter to cut the line. I then went to auto zone and 
bought what a plumber would call a full union (Two nuts and a sleeve between 
them. I rented a flaring tool ($35.00 all Refunded) slipped a nut over each end 
of the line, flared the ends. and put the sleeve between them and tightened 
them up. Final cost about $5.00. And next time I need to pull it, it will be 
easier.  No, it doesn't look stock, but at least I didn't have to buy a 
mastercylinder.
