I've just finished completely dismantling the front suspension on my car.
What routinely needs to be replaced? I bought new springs, shocks, ball
joints and tie rod ends. How can you assess the condition of the lower
trunions? Can I assume that all the hardware needs to be replaced? The
lower wishbone brackets are pretty rusty, and I question the integrity of the
threads. Is there a resource that takes you step by step through a rebuild?
I want to do this right.
