Rick---At some point, the level in the fuel tank will be below that of the float bowl in question. If you don't want to wait for this to take place, disconnect a fuel line before the carbs and plug the hose with something, (drill bit, golf tee, pencil, etc.) then use a hose clamp to secure the two.
