I guess I didn't communicate this well. Where I was headed with this
idea was a complete re-finishing of these eye sores. I'd deep-six these
things after my bumper chrome job is complete but my wife thinks they're
just "darling"! Has anyone ever roughed them up a bit for a new
application paint job and how did they turn out? Of course, I'm not even
going to think of ordering new ones.
Old bullets on a new chrome job isn't going to look too hot! Maybe my
wife will see the light.
