| FWIW. When I disabled my anti-smog, (72 model), I removed all the black plastic tubing, including the section from the tank neck to the expander tank in the right rear fender and to the carbon cannister. Then I installed and anchored a rubber tube from the tank neck fitting to a point about four inches below the chassis, just inboard of the left, rear wheel. The idea was to prevent any overflow to the interior of the car. Mike N CC75088L |
