Could it be a sticking float or crap keeping the float needle open? This is
just a wild guess. I'm sure others can be more helpful. just the first thing
that come to mind.

To listers:

I started up my sons 73 TR6 today and gas was leaking from what appeared
to be every possible connection and screw. Actually, it looked like it was
on the side of the ZSs near the float areas. Its been about 8 weeks since
I drove it last and once it got warmed up, the motor would die for a second
or two and then continue. I could hit the gas and rev it up and the motor
would continue for another four or five minutes and repeat the die
scenario.

The question I have for the list is What am I looking at? Carb rebuild or
am I looking at fuel pump problems. I noticed some on the list have eluded
to the charcoal canister as a possible problem, but since the fuel seems to
be leaking profusely from the carbs, Im hoping for a carb problem. The
DPO has not been available to clear up any questions about the mechanical
operations of the car, so Im pretty much on my own to figure out whats
happening with this car. It has about 95,000 miles on it.
