Darrell and Don,
I got a NOS housing for my 69 and it is painted silver hammerite. If you
check the 69 brochure you'll see the color, also Darrell you'll see the metal
fuel filter, not a plastic one as we dicussed.

Don,
I always use the same paint for the wheels, valve cover and air canister on
my early cars. It is available from Moss in spray cans. I believe it is
220- 560 Silver. I have also heard it referred to as Argent Silver used on
many British cars including MG T-Series. Eastwood also offers it. The 6PACK
Chief Judge will most likely be unable to tell any difference but make sure
you point the writing on the canister " AC FILTER TYPE E730 ELEMENT TYPE
AC73 Made In England" up in full view from underhood since I know he likes
it that way.

Cheers,
Darrell Floyd
