I had this problem before. I found by cleaning the ground strap on the block
to the chassis and cleaning and sanding the area that they are bolted to, in
order to get a good ground, solved the problem. By the way, I cleaned the
entire braided ground strap by letting it sit in Coca Cola over night and
then rinsing it off in warm soapy water. Now can you imagine what this stuff
can do to your stomach.
