| Lionel----You didn't mention the thermostat. While the temperature of the coolant registering where you see it isn't harmful in any way, you could try a thermostat with an opening temp of 165 deg. First, I'd check the actual temp using a thermometer down in the neck of the radiator, to see if it matches the gauge reading. (Valerie likes the "candy" kind.) Dick |
