I had a '72 TR6 with 3 point belts and now own a '70 with lap belts.
Not sure if the 3 points were original to the car, but FYI.

Well, not sure about the dates on legal US DOT seat belt issues.
i suspect it was more like 72 or 73 when three point/shoulder harness
became
manditory. my reasoning is this: the 1971 chevy blazer i used to own
came
from the (US) factory with lap belts only.

....ahhh i miss her (the chevy)!
i needed the antithesis of my tr6 you know!...kinda hard to put a white
water kayak on the tr6...which I HAVE done mind you - out of pure
necessity
and obsession to the sport. a 6 hour highway drive no less - to the
Gauley
river!!!
