Eric---Yes, the push rod from the clutch pedal to the MC is easily
replaced. Pull back the rubber boot at the end of the rod and you'll see
an internal snap ring. Squeeze the ends together and pull the ring
towards you. Now the rod will come out, with the clevis pin removed.

Check for an oval hole in the secondary arm that operates the clevis.
All looseness or play in this area allows the pedal to bottom out,
before the full compliment of fluid is passed out of the MC. When all is
well, you should then have at least 1/2" of push rod movement at the
Slave Cylinder.
(Check, using an assistant.)
If necessary, it's not a big job to take out the pedal box to repair an
elongated hole in this clutch arm.

If you do all of the above and now have the 1/2" + of push rod movement
at the SC, your clutch should disengage when the pedal is an inch or
more from the 'floor'. If you STILL have a problem, and you're certain
that the's no air in either fluid system, the next step is the removal
of the transmission/bellhousing to inspect for a broken fork pin. (There
are ways of checking this without removing the tranny, but it requires
having an intimate knowledge of what this area is supposed to look and
feel like.) Broken pins are commonplace. If you are going to do the job
yourself, a good repair manual is necessary. Let us know..
