Stuart---First you'll need to identify which carbs you have. Then
determine the size of the jet they have. (Either .090 or .100) This will
tell you which needle selection you can choose from.) You can find the
size jet you have from measuring the diameter of the needle, where it
first protrudes from the air piston. If it measures over .090, it runs
in a .100 jet. If it measures, less than .090, it runs in a .090 jet.
There is no need to "convert" to or from a biased or non-biased needle,
as both styles have a great selection to choose from.
 It could be that you now have the std. TR4A QW needles. A leaner mix
could be had from a QA if you have the .090 jets.

You'll be able to determine if a change of needles is warranted after
the A/F monitor is installed. Meanwhile, try raising one or both jets,
to lean out the mix in what you now have, if you haven't already done
so. If you can do so and still get the engine to idle correctly, you
should find it will also run well at road speeds, as these needles will
flow about the same A/F as the B1AF needles from the stock TR6 ZS carbs,
with their .100 jets.
