Huh? Sounds like a TR to me!
I might suggest spreading a little grease on the strap, just to help it move
easier. But the loud sound (sort of like that sound you might imagine if
the door broke off your car) is normal.

Hello listers,
I insatlled new check straps and noticed that when the door is fully opened
it works fine. But when I go to close the door. It seems a little bit hard
and I hear a loud clunking noise.
