Hi, Chris---Don't know why your oil pressure should show any downward
change after going to the spin-on filter. If anything it should have
gone UP, if only due to the cleaner, undiluted oil.

'Normal' pressure to me on a hot engine (and this means an hour or more
at highway speeds, not city) is 70 lb. when ticking over at 3,000 rpm or
more, and idling pressure to 20 lb. +/- 5 lb. "City" hot oil pressures
can be 5 to 10 lb. higher. Ambient temperatures come into play here
also, so allow a little for this.
