I used an anti-rust primer from Eastwood, then sprayed on Alu-Zinc
(Aluminium/Zinc) paint from Griot's Garage...it looks original (unlike some
glossy paints) and has done a great job for 6 years. Mask carefully, though.

Subject: Advise on bumper
Just had my original rear bumper from my 1971 TR6 triple plated and show
quality chromed by Librandi's... Very nice job, although $$$.
Any suggestions on how to best preserve the outside chrome finish. Also,
he didn't really finish the underside - plated, but not rustproofed -
suggested painting it with silver Rustoleum. What does the list recommend?
